Watchmaker / La relojera

I remember once I fell in Love with a watch... Okay... It was a Dolce & Gabanna but still I loved it. At that time, I didn't have much money, and even though my lovely friend Inés was studying in Italy and checked the prize there in case it was cheaper... I missed the chance. Later on, Well, one year later, like in the movies, I saw it on the internet, in an online shop.I asked my mom for permission, I had money though, so I bought it. I don't wear it that often, cause I don't want to damage it, you know how clumsy I can be, but it's one of my favourite treasures. When I came to London to settle down one year ago, I found out in Camdem they have so many watches like this one, cheap copies that just reinforce my election.

Recuerdo una vez que me enamore de un reloj... Vale, era un Dolce & Gabanna pero aun así lo quería. En aquella época no tenia mucho dinero, e incluso my querida amiga Inés, que estaba estudiando en Italia, consulto el precio allí en caso de que fuera mas barato... Perdí la oportunidad. Mas tarde, bueno, un año mas tarde, como en las películas, lo vi en internet, en una tienda online. Pedi a mi madre permiso, aunque tenia dinero, así que lo compré. No me lo pongo a menudo porque no quiero dañarlo, sabéis lo patoso que soy, pero es uno de mis tesoros favoritos. Cuando vine a Londres a establecerme hace un año, descubrí que en Camdem venden muchos relojes como este, copias baratas que solo refuerzan mi elección. 

Because the watch strap came long, I had to have it fixed to my wrist, so I went to a nice watchmaker's workshop back in the little town once I used to live. The woman was so generous she didn't charge me for her services that I went the next day to pay her with my money: my art. I drew this woman like this. 

Como la correa me venia grande, lo tuve que llevar a que me lo ajustaran a la muñeca, así que fui al taller de una relojera muy amable, en el pueblo donde una vez solía vivir. La mujer fue tan generosa que no me cobró por el servicio, así que al día siguiente fui de nuevo a pagarla con mi moneda: mi arte. La dibujé así.
